knit a snow pixie...

there's a new yarn at my favorite yarn shop...

ushuaia, from the spanish company katia,is a super-bulky, thick-and-thin yarn that is wildly fun...

not my usual style, this yarn, but the happy colors were calling out, "knit me!"

and so, that evening, I made a baby sweater...

at a gauge of 2 stitches per inch, 
it flew off the needles...

thus, the name...
